Find your device family, then check the exact model and available player. Compatibility depends on the operating system and app, not only the brand printed on the screen.

Televisions and streaming devices

Smart TVs can use different app stores and operating systems. Check your television’s model number in its settings or on its label before following a guide. Samsung and LG have their own device-specific considerations; Android TV and Google TV use a different application ecosystem.

An external streaming device can be an option when the television’s own app store does not offer a suitable player. Check the HDMI connection, power arrangement and remote-control requirements before buying hardware. We do not require you to replace a television just because one app is unavailable.

Phones, tablets and computers

A compatible mobile player can be useful for testing an account or watching away from the television. Keep mobile-data limits in mind, and test on the network you actually expect to use. Availability abroad may also depend on location and service conditions.

Windows and Mac users should choose software from the official developer or trusted app store. A desktop player’s network-stream support does not guarantee a full television-style guide or catch-up interface. Decide whether simple playback or catalogue navigation matters more for your use.

Check features separately

A device may play live video successfully while lacking a specific codec, subtitle format, guide feature or catch-up integration. Test each feature you need instead of treating a successful login as complete compatibility. A 4K television also needs a compatible stream, decoder and stable connection for 4K playback.

App activation can be separate from the subscription. Confirm the precise player and licence arrangement during setup. Do not assume that an app with a similar name is the same product or that every version has the same features.

Use the relevant setup guide

Choose the guide that matches the operating system on your device. If the name is unclear, send support the model and software information, with serial numbers and personal identifiers hidden. Start with one device, establish a working configuration, then add other screens within your connection allowance.

Keep a record of which player works on each screen. This makes later troubleshooting easier and avoids replacing a working setup unnecessarily.
