M3U Playlist Setup and Privacy
A private M3U URL gives a compatible player access to a playlist. The URL can contain credentials, so protect the whole address as carefully as a password.
Use the complete supplied URL
Choose the player’s supported playlist or network-source option and paste the full address from your service message. Do not remove query parameters, rewrite the host or shorten the link. Those parts may be required for the account and selected output format.
An M3U URL is not the same as the separate server, username and password form. Use the login method that matches the details you received.
Import before judging playback
Allow the player to load the list, then open several representative entries. Some players provide only simple playback, while others also organise categories, favourites and guide data. Choose the software for the experience you need.
If the list is empty, check the URL for accidental spaces or line breaks. Do not immediately assume the subscription is inactive or replace the source with a public playlist.
Keep the link out of public tools
Public URL scanners, pasted screenshots and shared chat groups can expose embedded credentials. Do not publish the link when asking for help. Describe the error and the player version first.
If the address is accidentally exposed, contact support through your existing conversation. Do not assume deleting the public post removes every copy.
Refresh carefully
Use the player’s own refresh control when the catalogue needs an update. Refreshing a playlist and changing the account server are different actions. Follow current support instructions for any address change.
For Windows or Mac playback, consult the selected player’s official documentation. VideoLAN provides VLC media-opening guidance; feature support still depends on the actual playlist and application.
