Check the actual channels you need during testing. Catalogue totals are package descriptions, not a guarantee that every title or regional channel remains available at all times.
What Premium adds
Premium lists 4K UHD content where available, premium sports and PPV where available, enhanced peak performance, premium guide and catch-up support, faster content updates and supported player-activation features.
These features depend on the source and device. A player licence does not necessarily cover a different app with a similar name, and catch-up is not available for every channel. Confirm the exact feature you need before choosing.

A higher tier does not replace a stable setup
Both tiers still need a compatible player and a suitable internet connection. A weak Wi-Fi link, an unsupported codec or a second active stream on a one-connection plan can cause problems that changing tier will not fix.
Test the relevant device and channels first. If Standard meets your needs, there is no need to choose a feature you will not use. If a Premium feature is essential, ask support to demonstrate or confirm that specific feature during setup.
